The Kansas City Chiefs this week will face a similar number of injury questions as they did entering Week 1. Derrick Johnson was healthy enough to play last week so he'll play in Week 2.

That leaves the other injured guys as the big question mark. Mitch Holthus spoke with Romeo Crennel on Chiefs Kingdom on 810 WHB last night and I caught this exchange on the injured guys.

Holthus: "You get Tamba Hali back. That'll be huge. What about a Brandon Flowers, Kendrick Lewis, Anthony Toribio, Allen Bailey, any chance this week of getting those guys on the field against the Buffalo Bills?"

Crennel: "I think Tamba we can say definitely that he'll be there. He's anxious and will be ready to go. Having him on the team I think will be helpful to us. Flowers did a little bit last week and hopefully he'll be able to do more this week. If we can get him out there on the field I think he will represent the Chiefs very well."

So that's a maybe on Flowers. I'd guess he's in for another week of "limited" practices.

"Those other young men that you mentioned," Crennel continued, "they're working to try to get better. I don't know if they're going to be ready this week but they continue to work to get better."

So the status is much less certain on Lewis, Toribio and Bailey. There's no reason for Romeo to rule them out right now -- keep the Bills guessing -- but he doesn't sound optimistic they'll be ready.

Still, I can handle injuries to Lewis, Toribio and Bailey if it means Tamba and Flowers are back.
