NFL Power Rankings: Chiefs Take A Dip After Loss To Falcons

In last week's NFL power rankings I had the Kansas City Chiefs ranked 23rd, which was slightly lower than most outlets. (So much for being a homer.) This week I have to drop the KC Chiefs after losing to the Atlanta Falcons.

The Chiefs are ranked 25th in SB Nation's Week 2 NFL power rankings.

No, I don't think the Chiefs are the 25th best team in the NFL. I think they're better than that. But given what we know about the Chiefs from last season and what we saw in Week 1 the 25th spot makes sense to me.

KC has a chance to rise in the next month with road games against the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints and then home games against the San Diego Chargers and Baltimore Ravens. If they can go 3-1 in that stretch, they will be moving right on up the polls. Even going 2-2 could be considered a win with that group of games.

25th this week for the Chiefs. Too high or too low?
