Falcons Lose Brent Grimes For The Year In Chiefs Game

The Atlanta Falcons' victory over the Kansas City Chiefs came at a price. Specifically, the price was cornerback Brent Grimes.

Multiple reports state Grimes suffered a season-ending Achilles' injury against the Chiefs on Sunday, which is an awful blow for the Falcons.

For a little perspective, Grimes was the Falcons franchise tag player. That would be similar to the Chiefs losing a starting cornerback, like Brandon Flowers or Stanford Routt, or even Dwayne Bowe.

Tough break for Atlanta.
