Six NFL preseason games on tap for tonight, the first week of the preseason. We had the Hall of Fame game last week so that was technically the first preseason game but this weekend is the first time we'll see every team play. 16 games scheduled between tonight and Monday night. Feels good.
One game will be on national TV and that's the Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers. The rest of them will be local but I'll be watching NFL Network's preseason live as well. You can find a bunch of video highlights, .GIFs and things like that at this SBNation.com link tonight.
For us Chiefs fans, the big game of note -- besides the Chargers -- would be Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos taking on the Chicago Bears. Manning may play a series or two but that's it. I'm also looking forward to RGIII doing what RGIII does.
Here's the schedule of events for tonight:
- Redskins vs. Bills (7:00 p.m. ET)
- Ravens vs. Falcons (7:30 p.m. ET)
- Saints vs. Patriots (7:30 p.m. ET)
- Steelers vs. Eagles (7:30 p.m. ET)
- Packers vs. Chargers (8:00 p.m. ET - ESPN)
- Broncos vs. Bears (8:30 p.m. ET)
