There will be over 700 NFL free agents after today's NFL roster cuts. Teams are currently at 75 players and by 8:00 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) they'll be down to 53 players. That means each team is trimming a maximum of 22 players who will soon be free agents.

The Chiefs and other teams will cut players and place others on IR to create the roster space. We've noted that every year there seems to be a mystery IR candidate, someone with an injury we didn't know was serious. The Chiefs could also trade players in this time.

Another transaction KC could be making this weekend is signing players cut from other teams. This is a mini free agency period so GM Scott Pioli will quickly turn his attention to other teams' players after the Chiefs make their own cuts.

Lots of moves are coming this weekend. We'll be updating every team's roster cuts at this link on SBNation.com. It'll alert you when there's an update if you're the type to leave a few tabs open all day (like me).

Everyone ready for today?
