Chiefs Vs. Packers: Tiebreaker Game

The KC Chiefs and Green Bay Packers preseason finale tonight will be a tiebreaker of sorts. The Chiefs and Packers preseason history stands at 6-6-1 with 13 total games played. The winner of tonight's game shall be called...the winner of a meaningless fourth preseason game.

This is the third consecutive meeting between the Chiefs and Packers in the preseason. Fun fact: teams can schedule their final preseason game, so the Chiefs and Packers have done three years in a row now.

KC owns a 7-3-1 regular season record over Green Bay, which surprised me. Green Bay seems like one of those teams that would have a winning record over everyone over the years.

The last regular season win came last year and....well, we all remember that.

Unfortunately, the Packers lead the Super Bowl matchups -- 1-0. They beat KC in the first ever Super Bowl.

Another fun fact; the Chiefs and Packers have played at Arrowhead, Lambeau, Milwaukee County Stadium, the Tokyo Dome (1998) and Fawcett Stadium (2003, Hall of Fame Game). 2003, by the way, was the last time the Chiefs had a winning preseason record.
