The longer an NFL training camp goes on, the longer the injury list will become. Whether it's a case of the physical contact that guys start to take or just the ongoing aches and pains of a team coming together and getting in game shape, the Chiefs are finding several guys needing a day off for various reasons.

Head coach Romeo Crennel recently took a few minutes out during the walk-through this morning to discuss where certain players were at. Some might be out for a few days while others return in time for Family Fun day tomorrow. Get the full scoop after the jump:

On defensive Jacques Reeves:

Jacques Reeves is supposed to be in today. He has been dealing with that family issue that I mentioned to you. He will be here today and we will get him out there and get him acclimated to the conditions and see where that takes us.

Linebacker Brandon Siler:

Brandon Siler, we are going to hold him back today. His ankle is sore, so we are going to hold him back. It seems like if we rest him a bit then he will be ready to go, so we are going to rest him and then get him back out there and go from there. No major changes with anybody else.

Cornerback Brandon Flowers:

Flo (Brandon Flowers) did a little bit this morning and then we will see what he looks like this afternoon. Whether he is there or not, I am not exactly sure. So we will have to wait until this afternoon to find out how much he is going to do

Defensive end Ethan Johnson:

We are resting him until he gets back. He didn't work today. I saw him this morning and talked to him. As a matter of fact he said he is feeling better. When he is ready we will put him back out there.

Cornerback Donald Washington:

Donald has a family issue that he's dealing with, and we anticipate that he'll be back tomorrow.
