Those KC Royals fans are bringing their anti-David Glass talk to the KC Chiefs.
If you haven't heard the news, www.no-more-glass.com is a website started by Royals fans urging Royals owner David Glass to sell the team. They even raised enough money for this ad in the KC Star.
Now they want to take it a step further. From the website:
We have now raised money for our 2nd initiative. We will be running an hour long "CASH OUT GLASS - WWW.NO-MORE-GLASS.COM" banner around Arrowhead and Kauffman Stadiums before the Chiefs home opener on 9/9. Post 9/11 regulations prohibit flights over stadiums DURING games so it will be flying overheard during the Tail Gate.
They should use some of that money to invest in a better website, which reminds me of Geocities.
Man, being a baseball fan must suck. If the team is bad they're out of it by July which means you have several months of games you know won't end up mattering in the end. That's why the NFL is great -- a team like the Broncos can be out of it in early November but win the division in late December. (But screw the Broncos.)
