The first round of NFL roster cuts is done and there aren't a ton of surprises. The Kansas City Chiefs released 14 players to get down to 75-man roster limit and the rest of the league did the same. Teams had to go from 90 players to 75 players by 3:00 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) today.
Nearly every team has announced their cuts and you can see that list here. There are a few surprises here and there but not any "must have" type of players.
The next round of cuts will be more eventful. By Friday night, teams needs to be down to 53 players which means each team will be cutting 22 players in the next five days. Those are the cuts to watch out for because the players are generally better than this first round of cuts.
We're also waiting for the first big surprise cut for the Chiefs. There's always one of those.
See any players on that list that could help the Chiefs? Nothing really jumps out at me.
