First and foremost let me say this is my first post on here. I have been a long time reader, but never really wanted to get my feet wet. Now, after being there in person to see this nightmare I feel I have to get some of what is running through my head off of my chest. First things first, as an entire unit and a football team this was truly a disgusting showing in every facet of the game. The WR's couldn't seem to catch anything(besides Dex which although he is a talented player he is not what I want for hands on my team).

The Defense, well I'm not sure I even want to get into that I'll touch on that a bit later. The QB play was so so I guess. I do get so angry when Matty takes off running way before he has to and in doing so doesn't look down field to find freed receivers. Did anyone else see the good old double spin Matt tried that lost ten yards? I mean how stupid can you be your not Charles throw the ball or run it FORWARD. Speaking of Charles though I was impressed at the fact his cuts and bursts of speed seem to all still left in the tank. Now back to Matt, I'm not going to agree he had a good game. Yes there were some drops but there were also many passes he delivered that were just a little high or a little in front. Yes the receivers should catch what they get their hands on but don't make it so hard on them. The Truth of the matter is it took a dink and dunk drive with allot of Dex to get the 7 they got. They didn't look pretty doing it Matt threw a pick too and the drives before that were atrocious to say the least.

Now I guess I'll get back to the defense. DJ is one of the most solid Linebackers in the NFL and proves it every week to me. Hali I love you and your a monster who get's HELD every damn play, tonight though you made a few stupid decisions and your out week 1....Snap out of it!....Jalil.....You are the worst player I've seen in my entire life and I hope we trade you to Denver. Everybody else that was a joke and if you play that week 1 we might get the same exact results. Flowers and Lewis being out hurt so much in so many ways. Although if they were playing in this game I still don't see where we would have made it a game. Jalil makes me ill brown though could have had a major impact on this game though. That being said I'm not writing off the D as a big pile of %^$& yet. It was two preseason games without all the starters. So let me just see week 1 before I have a mental breakdown.

I'm far from writing off the season after 3 preseason games with one of them being pretty good. The team has to get a fire under their !@# though if they want to be ready for the likes of Atlanta. The offense at times look great and then looks like last year all over again. They have got to find a better balance Charles and start getting the B's involved allot more. I love Dex and all but I want to see the big boys do some work too. Matty when given the time needs to stand strong in the pocket and find his receivers downfield. The defense on the other hand just needs to stop and start over. They have failed to show up now two weeks in a row first at the beginning of the Rams game and pretty much all night tonight. If you would have asked me before this game what I predicted the season record I would have said 10-6. After tonight I would be sketchy at 9-7, and yes I know it's preseason and that's not what I'm basing it off. I'm basing it off the fact of our record last year and the improvement I'm just noe seeing from the injuries coming back. Our schedule is no cakewalk and we will have to play a hell of allot better than tonight. So I guess to wrap it up GO CHIEFS and I hope we play better next week!!!
