The Kansas City Chiefs open 2012 training camp on Friday, July 27 which means we are currently 22 days away from the start of Chiefs training camp.
The week of July 4th is usually one of the slowest weeks of the year because many front offices and coaching staffs take vacation during this time. The players have been off since mid-June so this is a sloooow time of year.

Luckily, though, we've been able to talk about hard-hitting items like Eric Berry's high school brothers, buying our own Super Bowl commercial and Peyton Hillis pulling a truck in Leawood.
Soon enough we'll be rolling into position battles, guessing the 53-man roster, the depth chart and other things like that. You know, actual football things.
Only 22 more days...
