I never went up to River Falls, Wisconsin when the Kansas City Chiefs used to hold training camp there but I always heard good things about the setup there. The Chiefs training camp is now located on the campus of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Peter King of SI.com has visited a whole bunch of training camp across the country and he ranks St. Joe as the No. 7 training camp location in the NFL.
I have always loved the Wisconsin-River Falls site, so this one, on the campus of Missouri Western State University, will take some getting used to. But practices are fan-accessible, and you can catch players around campus too. Good line of sight on the main practice field. For the team, rainy days are no issue because of a classy, modern indoor facility the Hunt family helped build.
And he doesn't even mention the beer tower at Uncle D's! 100 ounces of beer for $6.10. (Can you guess which radio station sponsors that?)
