It's a new month which means we'll be starting up our monthly approval polls this week. Before we do that though I wanted to share this graph that a reader, Chiefsfan12000, whipped up for us.

The image above is a line graph of all the approval polls we've done. A few of the lines are broken which just means we forgot to do a poll that month. (Blame it on Chris, not me.)

GM Scott Pioli and owner Clark Hunt have over three years worth of approval polls while head coach Romeo Crennel has just a few months. It's interesting to note where we were -- all the ratings were high back in 2009 and 2010 -- and where we are now -- the ratings are way up or way down.

It's hard to pinpoint exactly what happened in the last year but I imagine it's a combination of the NFL Lockout and the fact that the Chiefs struggled to start the 2011 season.
