The Kansas City Chiefs announced last week that KCTV-5 will carry the Chiefs preseason games for the 10th consecutive year and the on-air broadcast team will be NFL Network's Paul Burmeister and former Chiefs QB Trent Green.
Chiefs president Mark Donovan said: "We are extremely excited to have Paul Burmeister and Trent Green leading the on-air broadcast for the 2012 preseason on the Chiefs Television Network. Both Paul and Trent have ties to the region and provide a great combination of local Chiefs knowledge and National Football League perspective."
KCTV5 GM Bobby Totsch said: "We are eager to begin our 10th year of airing preseason games on the Chiefs Television Network this fall. Having Paul Burmeister and Trent Green in the booth will be a true treat for all Chiefs fans and KCTV5 viewers when they tune into games this August."
The Chiefs also announced that their in-house production company, 65 Toss Power Trap, will be pushing out a few new shows, including Chiefs Blueprint and Chiefs Full Contact, during training camp. The Hy-Vee Chiefs Insider Show returns and KCTV-5 will also be airing episodes of Chiefs Kingdom, a documentary-style show that highlights Chiefs fans.
I know the subject of one of the Chiefs Kingdom shows, which should be pretty awesome. More details on that later.
