Remembering Philip Rivers' Fumble In Chiefs-Chargers Game

NFL.com is counting down the top 20 games of the 2011 season and coming in at No. 16 is the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Otherwise known as "The Fumble".

With just over a minute remaining, the Chargers lined up in field goal range to simply run out the clock and prepare to kick the game-winning field goal. A simple hand-off, line up the ball in the middle of the field and kick the game-winner, right?

Wrong. Somehow, someway, Philip Rivers fumbled that snap and Andy Studebaker recovered. Check out the write-up on the game at NFL.com. Here's the video of that play, which is still oh-so-awesome to watch. I snapped a few screen shots of the fumble below.

Look at where Studebaker is below. He's on top of the pile and somehow ends up with the ball. You think that ball switched hands in the pile?

Let's all do the happy dance!

All of that led to this .GIF -- "worst day ever".
