Mission accomplished.

Last week SB Nation's college football hub ran their very own college football Hall of Fame and one of the candidates at linebacker was former Alabama (and Chiefs!) LB Derrick Thomas. We asked you to vote for him in the poll and we're happy to report back that we've been successful.

DT handily captured 73 percent of the vote, which means he's in the SB Nation college football Hall of Fame.

That so many people remember DT and still believe he was one of the greatest college linebackers of all time shows just how good he was. He died over a decade ago but we still remember him around here often.

Our Alabama blog, Roll Bama Roll, has a great write-up on the awesomeness that is DT.
