Is Bowe too old for a long-term contract?

Fitz: "I tell them, 'Before you know it, you're going to look down and find gray hair in your beard. You're going to be sore in parts that were never sore before. It changes that fast, and I never realized that before. So I need your best right now." Couple that with this quote http://sports.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981475722 about the huge gap in Bowe's contract negotiation, and I don't think there is much hope for a Bowe deal: "he plans to shop his talents in free agency next season. Kansas City wants to give him a new deal but hasn't even come close to the numbers he's interested in." If Larry Fitzgerald keeps himself in shape, but admits he is likely on the backside of his career, does a one year younger Bowe--who has shown up to camp out of shape before--deserve a 5 or 6 year deal? I'm not so sure it is worth the gamble. Dwayne Bowe is one year younger than Larry Fitzgerald. In a new NFL.com post, Fitzgerald admits that he is likely on the backside of his career. So it got me thinking, since Fitz takes great care of his body, and Bowe has shown that he has problems staying in shape, maybe the Chiefs shouldn't sign him long-term.
