Life on an Island. Revis Island. Cornerbacks are going to get a brand new look in 2012 with the Full field video's to peruse. Everything we saw in the past was good or bad. No in between in secondary coverage video's. The Wide Receivers will have an all new category too. Dis-interest :) Does scheme make or break Cover corners? Man Cover vs Zone Cover cornerbacks. It seems that Asomugha got a pass (sorta) for going from Man to Cover and he did not fair well on the Dream Team in Philadelphia. Why are Cornerbacks so hard to grade for the media? What is important on an Island?
How important is the Safety to either scheme? The Pass Rushing from Defensive Ends or Outside-Line Backers. Should penalties really enter the equation? Do rush Lineman get a sack for a Holding Penalty?
A great Cover Corner barely gets tested in todays football. The greatest Cover Corners manage to bait the enemy into mistakes anyway. They Cover, Tackle, and change games with turnovers.
Darrelle Revis, Brandon Flowers, Brandon Carr, and Stanford Routt all had 4 Interceptions in 2011.
