There's been a uproar of talk about Matt Cassel getting "Booed" at the All-Star Celeb game and rightfully so in some minds, others not so much. I'm still on the fence about Matt but I thought the booing was unwarranted as a Kansas City Chiefs fan I've always wanted "The Franchise" QB, but I started thinking to myself. What do we as chiefs fans really know of what a "Franchise" QB is supposed to look like? I mean we have only had one in the history of the Chiefs and a lot of us who are 30yrs of age or younger have never seen him play.
I like Matt Cassel hes a good QB not great and far from terrible. I haven't been thrilled with his play but he was booed like his name was Brodie Croyle. If Cassel has another 10+ win season he will be right there with Trent Green as the only other Chiefs QB in last 20 years to have at least two 10+ win seasons during there tenure here. This city loved and still loves Trent Green but hates Matt Cassel. What gives?
