Just a little bit ago we noted that the Kansas City Chiefs were one of 21 teams reportedly at Josh Gordon's pro day today, just two days before the 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft.
There's now word that the Chiefs have shown a little interest in another Supplemental Draft prospect.
Aaron Wilson of Scout.com reports the Chiefs are one of more than 15 teams who have called about Carson-Newman linebacker Larry Lumpkin, who has also entered Thursday's Supplemental Draft.
Other teams that have called about him and are likely to attend his pro day on Wednesday include the Ravens, Colts, Bills, Browns, Rams, Seahawks, Broncos, Saints, Redskins, Bears, Jaguars, Dolphins, Packers, Cardinals, Raiders, Panthers, Buccaneers and Texans.
Check out the Scout.com article for his measurables. Looks like he's a late round/street free agent. That they've called about him probably doesn't mean anything. I wouldn't be surprised if they've called all eight of the prospects.
That's two of the eight Supplemental Draft prospects that we've linked to the Chiefs.
