The NFL Network's series on the top 100 players as voted on by NFL players continues on Wednesday night with players 31-40 and somewhere in tonight's unveiling we'll see a Kansas City Chiefs player represented.
There has been one Chief pick so far -- LB Derrick Johnson at No. 78.
Josh Looney over at the Chiefs website has tonight's list narrowed down to a Chiefs defensive player that was on the list last year, which leaves two possibilities -- LB Tamba Hali or S Eric Berry.
As Josh notes, the best guess is Hali considering Berry came in at No. 93 last season, and that was before his season-ending knee injury. Even at last year's ranking, No. 64, Hali seemed undervalued. He may not have the most sacks every year but it's hard to find a player who makes as much of an impact on every single play.
If the pick is Hali, he would be the lone repeat for the Chiefs so far. Last year KC had Berry come in at No. 93, Brian Waters at No. 67, Hali at No. 64, Dwayne Bowe at No. 45 and Jamaal Charles at No. 33.
