I imagine we'll have a few of these polls but this is the first one looking at the Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback situation. Is it going to be Brady Quinn or Ricky Stanzi?
Carrington Harrison of 610 Sports asked me the other day who the Chiefs should want to win this battle and I said Stanzi. He's a draft pick and with any draft pick you hope he turns into a contributor one day. Plus, Stanzi still has the idea of potential whereas Quinn is more of a known commodity (but you all know I'm a big Brady Quinn fan).
Quinn has more experience so from that standpoint I'd feel more comfortable with him, especially early in the season. But Quinn's experience is also only 12 career starts. Not much regular season experience.
The Chiefs have signed Alex Tanney but for now we'll assume the fourth string quarterback won't factor into the No. 2 competition.
Let us know in the poll. Who wins the Stanzi vs. Quinn battle for the No. 2 quarterback job?
