It's the offseason so it means ESPN is going to start ranking things like the best helmets or polling people outside of New York on their feelings about Tim Tebow. Occasionally, the four letter network comes out with a poll that's not completely dumb.
Today is one of those days. ESPN polled people on their favorite divisions and the NFC East won in a landslide with over 22 percent of the vote. The NFC North, featuring the Packers, comes in at No. 2 with nearly 16 percent of the vote.
The AFC West? They come in at 9.3 percent, just one percent below "none", and just above the NFC South.
They interviewed 1,500 people which means this is based on 139-and-one-half persons voting for an AFC West team.
OK, so it's pretty dumb.
