After some speculation over the last few weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs have made it official and announced the Arizona Cardinals will be coming to town for a week during training camp.
The Cardinals open their preseason schedule a week earlier than everyone else with the Hall of Fame game where they'll play the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, August 5. Instead of traveling back to Arizona the Cardinals will head to Kansas City where they'll spend that week at the complex in St. Joe.
This matches up with what Ross Martin of the St. Joe News-Press reported last week, the deal was "on the track to get done", according to the Missouri Western AD. That report said the Chiefs and Cardinals would likely practice together on Tuesday, August 7 and Wednesday, August 8, but the Chiefs didn't get into practice time specifics in their release.
The Chiefs and Cardinals are set to square off at Arrowhead Stadium on Friday, August 10.
This should be pretty cool, one of the highlights of camp.
Assuming it's not 104 degrees like it is today.
