Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry is still healthy. Berry, who tore his ACL in Week 1 last year, said on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Wednesday that he's 100 percent healthy, which is what we figured. Last April, Berry also said he planned to be 100 percent heading into training camp.
This is pretty much what Berry and the rest of the ACL crew have been saying the last few months. They're healthy, or getting healthy, and plan to be ready for training camp.
The Chiefs will start training camp up in St. Joe in about a month and we fully expect Berry, Jamaal Charles and Tony Moeaki to be taking part.
Berry has no real history of injury so his ability to come back is an unknown at this point. But knowing Berry's work ethic, I don't have many concerns about his ability to come back close to 100 percent.
It's kinda hard to believe that the last time we saw Berry play a complete game (heck, a complete quarter) was back in January 2011.
