The Kansas City Chiefs are expected to open training camp on Friday, July 27, according to KQ2 in St. Joe. An official from Missouri Western State University confirmed to KQ2 that the Chiefs are expected to arrive on camp on July 26 and began camp the following day.
This is basically what we expected. The Chiefs can start training camp 15 days before their first preseason game, which comes on August 10. Here's the Chiefs preseason schedule.
The Chiefs camp is expected to last until August 15.
The Chiefs are also expected to release a full preseason schedule in the coming days. There are limits on the number and types of practice they can have, per the new CBA, but training camp is the first time we'll see these guys in pads. The offseason to date has not included any sessions with full pads.
