AFC West blogger Bill Williamson of ESPN recently broke down the linebackers of the division as he's been doing with every position this offseason. The results are very good for Kansas City given that they place three of the top five in Williamson's rankings.

Tamba Hali comes out on top of his rankings, and Derrick Johnson is third with Von Miller of the Denver Broncos coming between them. Another Bronco in D.J. Williams is next and then the first real surprise is found in Justin Houston.

Williamson explains why Houston is so high when he writes, "I'm a big fan of this second-year player. I think he and Hali will be fun to watch rush the passer."

Jovan Belcher is listed at No. 15 and Brandon Siler at No. 18 to round out the Chiefs in the top 22 listed.

The saddest story found here is regarding the Oakland Raiders whose only entry in the top 10 linebackers is Rolando McClain at No. 9. Yes, the same McClain who was recently sentenced to 180 days in jail for third-degree assault among several other charges.
