Many of you have asked if there's any information on when you can buy single-game Kansas City Chiefs tickets.

I now have answer.

The Chiefs announced last weekend that single-game tickets will go on sale on July 18. For those of you in Jackson County, the presale starts on July 16.

And I can't go through an entire post on Chiefs tickets without mentioning the AP ticket hub.

Tickets for Kansas City Chiefs home games go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, July 18 at 9 a.m. Tickets may be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 745-3000, in person at any of the Ticketmaster outlets listed below (hours vary by outlet), or at the Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office located between Founder's Plaza and the Hy-Vee Gate on the northwest side of the stadium.

Tickets for Chiefs home games start at just $30. Buyers may use cash or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). No checks will be accepted.

In continuation of the team's long-standing policy, the taxpayers of Jackson County, Mo., will receive first priority to purchase tickets for the 2012 season beginning on Monday, July 16 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. They are also available during normal Ticket Office hours (8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) on Tuesday, July 17. Jackson County pre-sale tickets must be purchased in person at the Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office. No phone orders will be accepted for this special pre-sale event on July 16 - 17.

Jackson County taxpayers purchasing tickets must have one form of identification that includes a photo of the purchaser and a 2011 Jackson County, Mo., personal property tax receipt. Spouses residing at the same address will be allowed to purchase tickets, even if the property receipt is in their spouse's name.

One of the many benefits Chiefs Season Ticket Holders receive is the ability to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public. The priority pre-sale event for Chiefs Season Ticket Holders will begin on Monday, July 16 at noon and will continue during normal Ticket Office hours (8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.) on Tuesday, July 17. The Chiefs will notify Season Ticket Holders via email one week prior with instructions on how to participate.

Although single game tickets do not go on sale until July, Chiefs fans can purchase tickets now through full season ticket packages, a Pick 5 plan or a Divisional 3-Pack. Fans that choose to purchase a season ticket package with a minimum of two (2) seats will receive a special personalized Chiefs Nike jersey this year as part of the team's initiative to celebrate 50 years in Kansas City. The Pick 5 plan lets fans choose any four regular season games and match them with a preseason contest of their choice. The Divisional 3-Pack ensures tickets to the three home games against AFC West opponents in 2012.
