Living that South Carolina life:
Ryan Sims, the former Dorman High School football standout who played 105 games for the NFL's Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs, will host a soft opening for his establishment, Club Six, in the old Kimbrell's building at 127 W. Main St.
The 13,000-square-foot club, which is named after Sims' overall pick in the 2002 draft, promises to be a cool-casual venue with a classy-hip vibe that gives customers of all ages and backgrounds a place to dance, lounge and mingle.
Sims, who bought the business previously called Rome Nightlife, tells the Spartanburg Herald-Journal that his nightclub, which is apparently different than the previous one that was there, fills a "glaring need" in the community.
Jokes comparing Sims' career and his nightclub...go!
