Dear Mr. Bowe

First I would like to say I’m a huge fan, most of us in KC are. We love the circus catches, the trucks, the blocks, we love them so much we don’t mind the drops and off the field antics that come up sometimes. One the best catches I’ve ever seen, was by you. The juggling act against Indy for a TD was amazing, especially since you had to throw a defender out of the way to make the play. Me and my brother (you’re his favorite player) have had multiple conversations about how we have never seen ANY WR in our lifetime truck and run over defenders like you can. It’s quite amazing. You are not only one of the best Chiefs receivers ever, but one of the best receivers in the NFL today.

Now, that I’ve shown you some good love, it’s time for a little tough love. Bowe we need you to sign your tender. We know you want a long term contract, and Chiefs fan want you to get one. The offense wont be the same without you, no doubt. But right now I feel you’re being a little selfish. Us, the fans, have supported through good and bad. We supported you when you blew the whistle on girls in hotel rooms, when you got busted with substance abuse, and through every drop, including what probably would have turned into a game winning TD against Indy in 2010. You have come a LONG way since those days, but who were the people who kept making your highlight videos, buying your jerseys, and coming to the games to see you make plays, it was US. The Fans!!

Now we need you to suck it up and accept 9.4 MILLION DOLLAR$ to play this year. The best job I’ve ever had, I made $16 an hour. At that rate I would have to work 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year, for 280 YEARS!!!!!!!!! The average male lives for 73 years. That means I would have to work for 3.8 LIFETIMES!!!!!!! I think for that kind of money you can play and prove you’re truly worthy of a longterm contract. This going to be the year to do so. Please Bowe we ALL want you to stay, and be part of something special that is going on here right now in front of your eyes. All the other pieces are in place for this team to succeed, but we need you, the team and the fans, and to prove it check the results of this poll.
