On Wednesday, we heard that one of the Kansas City Chiefs 2012 opponents, the New Orleans Saints, would be missing two defensive starters when they line up against the Chiefs in Week 3 of the 2012 NFL season.
On Thursday, we hear that another one of the Chiefs 2012 opponents could be missing a rather important player. Ravens LB Terrell Suggs has reportedly torn his Achilles' tendon. The Ravens aren't sure yet whether it's a complete or partial tear but a full tear could keep him out for the entire season.
The Chiefs play the Ravens in Week 5.
The Ravens drafted LB Courtney Upshaw in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft so he could potentially see more playing time than initially planned.
We'll wait for more information to come out from the Ravens but this could be another major blow to a Chiefs opponent in 2012.
