I wanted to stir up some positivity here and bring a different perspective to things. In answer to a previous post....we can win a
superbowl playoff game with Matt Cassel. And this is why....
Enter Horseface and Fox and you have a winner. Fox and the ever Smiling Ass improvised and found a way to win, and ended up in the divisional round of the playoffs. I am not convinced that God wasn't helping the Broncs, but the point of this post can be summed up by saying that superior QB talent doesn't always win out in the NFL.
I think the Chiefs can make it to the playoffs. With a little outside the box thinking, and a little luck (Andrew or otherwise) the Chiefs could win a couple and make the dance. We could. We really could.
Cassel is not Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Eli MAnning, Matt Shaub, Tony Romo, Ben Rothlisburger, Andy Dalton, Philip Rivers, and is probably on par with Alex Smith. Who by the way game managed the 49ers to the NFC championship.
I want a star QB as bad as the next guy and was fully on board with chucking the season for luck. I have realized however, that we don't have a star QB, but we can still make it. There is hope. We can win it all this year. Not extremely likely but we have a chance, and it could work out for us. So gear up for a good season. We have a really good team. The future is pointing up. And if we don't win it all we could scrap the season and trade next years 1st round picks and Jamaal and Berry for luck....maybe. So be encouraged. Go Chiefs!
