Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star, who wrote this story on Art Still, has been tracking some of the former Kansas City Chiefs involved in concussions lawsuits with the NFL.
Here's another one for him to add -- Johnnie Morton. The former Chief and 12 other former NFL players have filed suit against the NFL, according to Paul Anderson of NFLConcussionLitigation.com.
Noteworthy about Morton's case is that he was dropped -- dropped hard -- in an MMA fight a few years ago and had to be carried out via the help of medical personnel. Here's video of Morton getting knocked out in an MMA fight. He reportedly tested positive for steroids after that hit.
The former Chiefs receiver spent the first eight years of his career with the Detroit Lions before coming to the Chiefs for three years. He was actually productive with the Chiefs, passing the 700-yard mark in two of his three seasons. He also spent a year with the San Francisco 49ers.
