The Kansas City Chiefs ACL trio -- Tony Moeaki, Eric Berry and Jamaal Charles -- are all being held out of OTAs this week, according to Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com. This isn't a big surprise as all three of those guys are recovering from ACL tears suffered early last season.
In April, Charles did an interview with a website and indicated that he likely wouldn't participate in OTAs.
"They'll probably be smart about it when I go up there for OTAs, be smart about me not doing that and they'll probably wait until training camp."
That these guys are sitting out shouldn't be a cause for concern. From everything the players and the team have said, they're all on schedule in their rehab process. OTAs conclude in the first week of June so we could see all three of these guys sitting out all of those sessions. Training camp looks like the target for these guys.
Also not participating is Chiefs safety Kendrick Lewis, who had offseason shoulder surgery.
