At last weekend's rookie minicamp the Kansas City Chiefs brought in former Hampton QB David Legree as the only quarterback at camp. He was just a tryout player and, like the rest of the tryout players, went back home on the third day of the rookie minicamp. He did not sign a contract with the Chiefs, but he's found a new home.

The Indianapolis Colts announced that Legree has joined the team.

The Colts are without Andrew Luck until June due to Stanford's school year not yet being complete so the Colts need another arm.

As you can see on his Twitter account, he made some friends with the Chiefs. Junior Hemingway and Cyrus Gray were among the Chiefs draft picks to wish him well after the rookie minicamp.
