That was quick. The Kansas City Chiefs on Friday morning signed half of their 2012 NFL Draft class. The Chiefs announced that fourth round pick Devon Wylie, sixth round pick Cyrus Gray and seventh round picks Jerome Long and Junior Hemingway have agreed to four-year deals.

These were all to be expected. Wylie indicated on Twitter last night that he has signed and the KC Star's Adam Teicher reported that both Long and Hemingway were expected to sign upon arriving in Kansas City.

All the Chiefs rookies will be taking part in the rookie minicamp, which starts today, regardless of their contract status. With the rookie wage scale, we shouldn't expect any prolonged holdouts for the draft picks.

We're waiting on four more players to sign: first round pick Dontari Poe, second round pick Jeff Allen, third round pick Donald Stephenson and fifth round pick De'Quan Menzie.
