Another Chiefs Free Agent Interest Signs Elsewhere

Stay connected for news and updates

BALTIMORE, MD - DECEMBER 24: Field judge Greg Gautreaux calls pass interference on Chris Carr #25 of the Baltimore Ravens as Carr goes up for pass with Josh Cribbs #16 of the Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium on December 24, 2011 in Baltimore, Maryland. (Photo by Rob Carr/Getty Images)

We just noted that Luis Castillo decided to re-sign with the San Diego Chargers after he made a visit to the Kansas City Chiefs a few weeks ago. Now there's another free agent who visited the KC Chiefs who will be signing elsewhere.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports CB Chris Carr has decided to sign with the Minnesota Vikings.

Carr visited the Chiefs last week so he was on their radar but he won't be signing with KC.

It's a reportedly a one-year contract.

The Chiefs actually made some cornerback news today when they announced CB Travis Daniels was coming back. I do wonder if Daniels signing with KC hours before Carr went to the Vikings are related.

This won't affect what looks like a pretty good free agency class for the Chiefs. Seems like most of the big name signings are done.
