Before the 2012 NFL free agency period started, the Kansas City Chiefs visited with former San Diego Chargers DE Luis Castillo. Nothing came out of that visit and Castillo later visited the New England Patriots.
Now, he's off the market. Castillo's agent confirms that he re-signed with the Chargers.
I was kinda warming up to the idea of adding a veteran defensive end for insurance for Tyson Jackson and Glenn Dorsey but it would appear that's not going to happen. Well, outside of the guy they had last year, Amon Gordon, who did well. It'll be interesting to see how they handle that position this year, especially with Dorsey, who's contract expires at the end of the season.
We'll have another update coming tomorrow on all the Chiefs free agents. Not much has been happening in the last week.
