Three weeks later, and it's done. Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com reports that the Chiefs have re-signed Daniels, who was a free agent, to a new contract.
No word on the length of the deal or the money involved.
Daniels was originally drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL draft and spent four years in Miami before moving onto the Cleveland Browns under then-head coach Romeo Crennel. He spent one season in Cleveland before joining the Chiefs, where he has played for the last there seasons.
Daniels has appeared in all 16 games in each of the last two seasons as a backup at the cornerback position.
