Entering Contract Year, Chiefs LT Branden Albert Makes An Agent Change

Kansas City Chiefs LT Branden Albert is entering a contract year as his five-year rookie contract is winding down. Chiefs GM Scott Pioli has extended a number of players during the season of the final year of their deal so be on the look out for a potential Albert deal this year.

And if the Chiefs do decide to enter into longterm contracte negotiations with Albert, it won't be with the same agent who negotiated his rookie deal. According to Liz Mullen of Sports Business Journal, Albert has signed with agents Brad Leshnock and Joe Flanagan of BTI Sports. He was previously repped by Todd France,

Players switch agents for any number of reasons so I don't think an agent switch necessarily means anything.

Soo...does Albert get extended this year?
