It's getting more interesting with Ryan Tannehill and the Kansas City Chiefs.
A couple weeks ago the Chiefs attended Tannahill's pro day and shortly after that they conducted a private workout with him. Peter King of SI.com has some new information -- the Chiefs also had Tannehill in for a visit to Kansas City.
Private workouts are usually done at the prospect's campus and the team actually gets to watch the player work out on the field. Visits to the team facility do not include the physical workout part -- it's more of a getting-to-know-you sorta thing.
So, unless this is a big smokescreen, which it very well could be, the Chiefs have had multiple points of contact with Tannehill -- probably scouts checking him out during the season, the NFL Combine, Texas A&M pro day, private workout and now a visit to Kansas City.
Tannehill is scheduled to visit the Browns this weekend, according to King, and then Buffalo, who picks one spot ahead of the Chiefs.
Elaborate smokescreen? Or KC doing some legit due diligence here?
