The Kansas City Chiefs local pro day will take place at Arrowhead Stadium today. The local pro day is pretty much what it sounds like it is -- a pro day day for the local NFL draft prospects. That includes guys who went to college or grew up in the metropolitan area.

It's basically an opportunity for some players who normally wouldn't get the change to work out in front of NFL coaches in a Combine-like atmosphere. Players will work out, do medical stuff and other interviews with the coaching staff.

Josh Looney over at KCChiefs.com has all the information on the 17 players that have been invited. One of note is OT Donald Stephenson, who is expected to be a mid-round pick. We've talked about him around here before.
