Looking around the NFL, David Mims is becoming an interesting and developing NFL story line. We all have read about the small school Mims attended (Virginia Union University - Richmond VA), and the hype with Mel Kipper of ESPN draft day last year, and Mims being one of the top UDFA steals for the Chiefs in 2011. What makes Mims so intriguing is his age, massive power and size at LT and his rocket rise to the Chiefs 53 man roster last year. There are only a few men with the raw potential like Mims in the NFL today: 23 years old, 6'8" - 325 lbs

The Chief obviously know what they have in David Mims. A natural at his position, Mims is a young rising LT in the NFL and with more coaching and OTA's a real force for the Chiefs for years to come.
