So lets say we end up getting Manning. What happens to Cassel? I dont think there is any way you keep him on the team with his salary to be the back up quarterback. I would rather save the money by releasing him. Also you got to factor in, the Chiefs have said he would be the starter or atleast compete and then all of a sudden kick him to the curb(which of course I wouldnt mind) but that isnt the best message to send to players. I think itll be interesting if we can somehow get Manning
