What to do at Center

I've been thinking about our center position lately. I think Casey Wiegmann is going to retire, which leaves us with Rodney Hudson as the only center on our roster. We need to add another one either through the draft or fee agency.

There are a couple of good free agents that could come in and start for us like Scott Wells and Chris Myers. If we decided to start Hudson this year at Center and not Guard we would need a back up for him. I think Dan ConnoIly would be a good fit and would be a relatively cheap option (yes another Patriot, so you know he's probably at least being considered). Personally I think Hudson is going to be a good player for us and would like to see him start this year instead of spending our money on one of the top centers in free agency.

That being said I think we need to have a good backup just in case he gets hurt or isn't as good as I think he might be. Looking for opinions do we sign a top free agent center a backup or do we look for one in the draft?
