Having had some Free Agent success that addressed some needs that were also readily apparent, our Draft needs have changed . Still need to bring in a swing tackle, perhaps a Collins or Shwartz in free agency or with a draft pick, however that is not a priority with the first pick. Many have suggested we trade down from pick 11, but I disagree. Now more than ever we need to bring in some CB/S help or a guy who brings pass rush from the NT/DT position. Manning has always been rattled and thrown off his game with a good pass rush.

Manning has just altered the status-quo of our division, and to win it we have to choose how we attack his ability, which is in a class by himself. While the commercial was for Albert Pujols,being a machine, Peyton Manning is a machine on the football field. We need to choose how to defend him, by attacking the pocket or having better talent in our base secondary. With Carr off to the enemy, upgrading the position is key, regardless of the other free agents who've we signed. Janoris Jenkins perhaps, my favorite player at pick 11. Hell, I'd trade that pick, #11, to the raiders for Richard Seymour in a heartbeat. He could bring the heat up the middle.

The road to the playoffs just got tougher within the division, and the donkeys our now odds on favorites to win it. Scotty Pioli has always tried to find the guys to win us the division, which propels us to the playoffs and the priority just took a major shift. The bolts will be in it as long as Phil Rivers is around, Carson Palmer should be improved with an offseason to work with his guys and now Peyton Manning is going to play us twice a year. We are in better shape but still need to get some talent to address these division rivals. Go Chiefs!!
