Before the signing of Winstron we had more pressing needs than ILB but now that we have our RT for years to come we can look at other positions.....

I liked Kuechly before we signed Winston but now it becomes a real possibility. After watching more highlights of him he reminds me of Dallas LB Sean Lee. He has great instincts and looks great in coverage and stepping up in the run game. He ran a 4.5 40 which is outstanding for an ILB. I know everybody wants a "thumper" like Hightower to go along with DJ but i say whats wrong with havin 2 DJ's? 2 ILBs that can not only drop into coverage but can also make those plays in the backfield on the ballcarrier would make for an elite D. I think this would be the way to go especially if Manning decides to go to Denver. Romeo has had success against Manning by dropping 7 into coverage and rushing 4. So with Hali and the d-line rushing the passer and Kuechly back there with DJ we could have great success defending a Manning led donkey team. I say get a NT in free agency (Franklin, Garay) then we are free to take Kuechly and have a stout defense set up for years to come.....
