We've been so engulfed in free agency the last few days that we haven't really paid any attention to the 2012 NFL draft.
That stops now. Jordan White, Western Michigan receiver, writes on his Twitter page that he's working out for the Kansas City Chiefs today. No word on whether that workout will be in KC or Michigan. There have been a few Michigan-area pro days this week.
Here's a little tidbit on White's pro day from NFL Draft Scout:
He unofficially clocked a time of 4.60 seconds, which beat his time of 4.69 at the NFL Combine last month in Indianapolis. "It made me feel a little better," White said of his 40 time. "Obviously, I wasn't excited about the 40 after (the combine), but I look back on all the people who didn't run fast times are successful."
In a lot of NFL eyes, White is not being drafted for his speed, but rather for his hands, which almost never drop a pass in his area. He looked very sharp running routes and catching balls outside of his comfort zone
He's a late round/undrafted free agent player, according to NFL Draft Scout.
