So long, Brandon Carr. The now-former Kansas City Chiefs cornerback posted goodbye to Chiefs fans on his Twitter account last night.
#ChiefsNation: thank you for an amazing 4 years. You will always have a special place in my heart. No love lost. I will cherish the memories. Thank you Herm Edwards for the opportunity of playing [at] this elite level. Took a chance on me. An absolute honor to play for him!
No love lost here, either. Just one of those things.
Thank you to my former teammates. I will cherish our memories as well while I will continue to pray and root for you guys.
Today was a great day. I know God will continue to walk with me thru this journey. Thank you for the warm welcome
#CowboyNation...turn up! 5yrs to prove my worth and I'm certainly up for the challenge! Thanks for understanding. I still love you all! Even the negativity...keeps me motivated.
Until next time...
