I am going to talk about specifically, what the front office can do to win my soul, and the souls of Chiefs fans everywhere. Firstly what sells me, is having a front office with a will to win. We need guys running the team who's main objective, and what gets them up in the morning is winning. I'm not asserting that anyone falls into this category in our front office, but you don't want a business man or a emotionless person running your team. You need heart at the top.
we are talkin about Superbowls here.
You want somebody who's heart is winning. Not collecting a check and playing ball to whatever office/financial politics are going on.

I believe that what the Chiefs do in the next two years is going to say a lot about the future of the fan base, and who we have running this show. If you have a look at the Chiefs roster we are so close!!!...almost there! We have a defense that was rated top 10 while being on the field all year last year. That's saying something. We have a very good group of skill position players on offense. If our Front office cares they are going to do something to upgrade from Cassell and make this a dynasty

Make no mistake about it. This is an epic time in Chief fandom. We are so close to what this sport is all about. Millios have hoped and waited, and the heart of a city hangs in the balance. The one little thing is holding us back...in my opinion anyway, is a quarterback. Also what hangs in the balance is our Chiefs future and also, what will be the story, of one Clark Hunt.
If Matt flipping Cassel suits up as the starter this year, I am going to feel a little numb towards football. Not because I am a lousy fan, but because I will believe, that the people running the show don't have a heart for the team to win. To have faith in someone they need to have faith and care in themselves. Clark has got to see that this is a pivotal moment. We deal with enough politics in life, we need a winner in the front office. If Clark cares he makes a move. Now. It's like if the girl you love, on valentine's day the week after a big fight. If you care you are going to come throgh. To me, this is the position Clark is in. He needs to show his heart and get us a winner. Now don't get me wrong. I love Matt. I just think his place is backing up the #1 QB.
Chiefs fans have had one of the most loyal and awesome fan bases anywhere. If Clark wants to keep his father's team what it once was he's gonna have to give a little, take a risk, and its gonna cost him. ButI feel this tells us what we are dealin with when we are selling out to our Kansas City Chiefs
I haven't made up my mind on Pioli or Clark yet. But I think this is the litmus test that will tell us. It's all right here. The time is now, the hour has come. The great climax of the Chiefs mythology is upon us. So many things have fallen into place. We are loaded, but we need a quarterback and it's going to cost us. Do we have a winner, whose heart is going to make him choose to sacrifice for a quarterback, or do we have a aristocratic beauracratic person with no heart for the team?
It doesn't have to be Peyton. It doesn't have to be Andrew Luck. But if you care, you make something happen. We are on the verge of being great. If it's me in the front office, there is no way in hell Cassel is my starter. I love the guy, but he serves best as our back up.
The time is now for me Clark. Show me your cards. Are you gonna field a winner for your city, or are you just a guy given something people hold so dear, only to exploit it for personal gain. This is Robin Hood and fairy tale big for Clark. I think what he does or doesn't do says everything about him. IF he has heart, or if he is a corporate machine. The time is now Clark
